








Rail Infrastructure Maintenance Supervisor
About the opportunity:
We need an experienced rail infrastructure maintenance worker willing to step up and lead the team. You will manage the cane transport maintenance activities to ensure compliance with legislation and regulatory requirements, company policies and procedures and good practice. Weekend work and call outs are required during the cane crushing season.
The role involves developing and managing an inspection, service and maintenance regime for infrastructure and associated structures and plant. Providing the bagasse handling operations for factory operations, including sourcing and managing contract machinery and services, and providing continuous support to factory operations. Managing the external stockpiling and protection of bagasse and responsible for site presentation and maintenance, inside budgetary constraints.
About you:
It is preferred that you will have railway and bridge maintenance, civil engineering, or project management experience within the sugar industry or mining. Experience in maintenance, projects, and people management. You will possess the qualities of leadership, teamwork, problem solving, continuous improvement, systems and processes, business communication, and competency in computer-based tools.

Sugar Cane Crushing Seasonal Work
About the opportunity:
The sugar cane crushing season will start in June and conclude in November. Shortlisting will commence in April. Local applicants will be given preference. Experience in continuous factory and transport operations is preferred, but people with broad and transferable skills and the right attitude will be provided with on-the-job training. There is day work, 12-hour shift work, 8-hour shift work, weekend work, call outs and overtime. We pay for all uniforms, work boots, training, and licence renewal costs as required for the position.
About you:
The person needs to be reasonably fit to be able to undertake the physical demands of the job, work in unpredictable and high temperature environments.
The ideal applicants are punctual, reliable, team players, problem solvers, have a positive and constructive attitude.
